Trip #1, Asti:
(No
weekdays except large groups)
Full Day Trip. Asti
To Alexander Valley
Campground. Spring Run Only. Not for beginners.
This is
our most challenging run. Available weekends only (except groups). No
children except for scouts. The
length of this run is 11 miles, with 4-5 hours of casual paddle time.
This trip is our most remote and an early season favorite, which has a
little more current than our other trips, yet is still not too difficult to
navigate. This section of the river meanders through lush vineyards and
woods, with many picnic spots, swimming holes, and an abundance of
wildlife… so bring your camera. Not available in the later part of the
season…be sure to book early. See below for info about our 2-day trip.
Class I + current.

Trip #2, Alex:
Full Day Trip.
Alexander Valley Campground To Rio Lindo or To River’s Edge Beach In Healdsburg.
Not for beginners.
Check in between 8:30 -
10:00 a.m.
The
length of the run is 11 or 15 miles, with 4-6 hours of casual paddle
time. This is our most popular trip as the character of the river begins
to change and becomes more wooded, with a few vineyards, as it snakes
around the base of various mountains. Still somewhat remote with plenty
of current to pull you along, you will find beaches and swimming holes
all along the way to play in. You have a choice to get out at our Rio
Lindo takeout (11 miles) or continue on to our beach in Healdsburg. You
must check in at Rio Lindo beach by 2:30 to continue on to Healdsburg.
Class I + current.

Trip #3, Rio:
Half Day Trip. Rio Lindo
To River’s Edge Beach
In Healdsburg.
Length is 5 miles,
with 2-3 hours casual paddle time. A perfect choice for families with
younger children, or those who want to arrive later for more leisurely
day. Very scenic with a little less current, yet plenty of wildlife and
places to swim and play. The last mile and a half of this section is
backed up by the Memorial Beach Dam, so expect a less current and a
little more time at the end of your run. The trip ends at River’s Edge
Beach...where there is an attendant and various services for your
convenience. Class I + current.

Camp At Alexander Valley Campground.
Check In Between 11am – 2pm (1:30 weekdays).
Length is 22 – 27
miles, with 4-6 hours casual paddle time each day. This is Lollie’s (the
owners) favorite trip…for she believes you don’t fully relax until your
second day on river. Start at Alexander Valley Campground on Saturday
morning. Leave your camp gear…and we will shuttle you up to the Asti put
in. Paddle back to Alex Camp, and continue your trip the next morning.
You can end at Rio Lindo…or continue down to our beach in Healdsburg.
